How to increase your web traffic

Bloggers and webmasters are now finding ways of directing web traffic to a website without using SEO. More web traffic are coming from blogs, chat and message boards and of course, from the various social networking sites. So that you can be sure of online success, you need to have as many web traffic sources as possible.

Here are some ways on how you can increase the web traffic to your site without SEO:

1. Social Networking Sites
There are a lot of social networking and social bookmarking sites on the internet today. You can easily build your internet presence by signing up with these social networking sites. Of course, the first step is to register with your chosen site. Once you have registered, fill in the necessary information regarding your company. Interact regularly with possible clients and encourage them to view and purchase your products or services.

Another way of using these social networking sites to your advantage is by adding their widgets on your website. This way, your web visitors will find it very easy to share your blog posts with their own network of friends. Create account on the main social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, Delicious, Digg, Reddit and StumbleUpon.

2. Classified Ads
Using classified ads is one of the best sources of getting more traffic. A major plus of this strategy is that it is for free. What you need to do here is to look for websites that will allow you to post an advertisement on their site. Remember to choose sites that will allow you to build back links. Make sure that your advertisement is eye-catching and informative. You can advertise upcoming events like seminars, gatherings, and exhibits. If you are product-centered, you can offer discounts.

3. Commenting on Blogs
Usually, bloggers allow people to post a comment after each blog post. There are times when you can insert a link in your comment or your name. The link will direct other users to your own blog or website. However, when doing this strategy it is best that you find blogs that are somewhat similar to your bog/website.

Remember though that comments that you leave should be related to the post and will add value to the existing discussion. Also, if possible, leave comments on the latest blog posts. Take note of all the blogs that you left a comment on.

4. Video Marketing
This is another way of directing traffic to your site. Making your own video doesn’t need any expensive equipment or software or professional writing skills. It is very easy to create simple videos that can convey what you want your potential clients to know. Your videos should have interesting titles so that it catches the attention of the people. Make sure that at least one of your keywords is present in the title of the video. A video can actually help promote yourself as expert in your niche.
